Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Production vs Dispatch vs Delivery

Each MakeQuote order has three phases: production (manufacturing your custom part), dispatch (the order leaving the manufacturer), and delivery (the order reaching you). Delivery timelines depend on production completion and logistics arrangements. Production time is determined by the manufacturer and stated in the quote.

2. Customer-Provided Delivery Information

You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information, including your full delivery address and contact number, at the project submission or checkout stage. Incorrect or incomplete delivery information may result in delivery delays or failed delivery. You may update delivery information through the platform before dispatch.

3. Standard vs Custom Manufacturing

All orders placed through MakeQuote are custom-manufactured to your specifications. There is no stock of standard items. Delivery timelines are therefore dependent on the production time quoted by the manufacturer, plus any additional transit time.

4. Delivery and Collection Options

Depending on the manufacturer and the project, delivery or collection options may be available. Where delivery is offered, the delivery cost is stated in the manufacturer's quote. Where collection is offered, you are responsible for collecting the order from the manufacturer's premises. The available option is determined at the quoting stage.

5. Delivery Timing

Delivery timing is dependent on production completion and logistics. MakeQuote does not guarantee fixed delivery dates. Estimated completion dates provided in the production order are estimates based on the manufacturer's schedule and may change due to production conditions, material availability, or change requests. You will be notified of production progress and any delays through the platform.

6. Delivery Charges

Where delivery is offered, delivery charges are stated in the manufacturer's quote and included in the total price at checkout. Delivery charges are not refundable once dispatch has occurred, except where the delivery itself fails due to manufacturer error.

7. Failed Delivery

If delivery fails because you were not available at the delivery address, a re-delivery fee may apply. If delivery fails due to an error by the manufacturer or courier, the manufacturer will arrange re-delivery at no additional cost to you.

8. Customer Availability

You are responsible for being available to receive delivery on the agreed delivery date, or for arranging collection on the agreed collection date. If you are unable to be available, you must notify the manufacturer through the platform in advance to reschedule.

9. Inspection Upon Delivery

You are responsible for inspecting your order upon delivery or collection. Any visible damage, missing items, or specification discrepancies should be reported through the platform within 7 days. Production evidence and quality check records are available on the platform to support your inspection.

10. Damaged Goods

If your order arrives damaged, report the issue through the platform with photographs within 7 days. MakeQuote will coordinate with the manufacturer to arrange repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate. Refer to the Refund & Returns Policy for details.

11. Collection Option

Where collection is the agreed method, you will be notified through the platform when your order is ready for collection. You must collect the order within 7 days of notification unless alternative arrangements are made. Uncollected orders may be subject to storage fees at the manufacturer's discretion.

12. No Guaranteed Fixed Delivery Dates

MakeQuote does not guarantee fixed delivery dates. Estimated completion and delivery dates are provided as guidance and may change due to production conditions, material availability, change requests, or logistics. MakeQuote is not liable for delays caused by factors outside the manufacturer's reasonable control.
